8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 31)

1. Goldberg Is Raw

Holy hell, either WWE is pumping “Goldberg” chants through the PA, or the former WCW champion is ridiculously popular right now. The crowd was really into Goldberg Monday night, as he opened Raw and had fans pumped for his appearance.

And then Paul Heyman interrupted, making this even better. At least Heyman got the desired reaction from fans this week, as they chanted “Goldberg” and pissed him off. Paul E. did something that then pissed the fans – and Goldberg – off, teasing that Brock Lesnar didn’t want to wait until Survivor Series. The Beast’s music played, and Heyman chuckled at everyone’s reaction.

But Goldberg got the last laugh, jackhammering Rusev (thanks for coming!) and delivered a spear to the advocate for good measure. Goldberg might only be around for one match, but if he keeps getting reactions like that, you’ve got to wonder if Vince McMahon will consider asking for additional appearances.
