1. So About That Universal Championship…

Twice in a 24-hour span, two top stars on Raw declared that they wanted a shot at Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Universal Championship.

But rather than having the top champ on Raw return to defend his title against a top contender, GM Kurt Angle (via cell phone) ordered Finn Balor and Seth Rollins (the two who challenged Brock) to battle Miz in a triple threat in a #1 contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Now, it’s good that WWE is trying to make the IC title something more by having it being sought after by top stars, much like it once was in previous eras. But it was really lame how quickly both men moved away from wanting the Universal Championship to accepting a match for the IC title.
