8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 8)

5. Another Classic Heel Move

As “constable,” Baron Corbin was almost unbearable parroting Stephanie McMahon’s opinions to babyface GM Kurt Angle.

But as a heel GM, Corbin has found his stride, doing little things to really solidify his standing as a villain who will take advantage of his position to advance his career. Monday, Baron tried just that by assembling a group of no-names to face in a battle royal. He proclaimed that by putting together this match, he was being a benevolent GM, which made it even better.

Of course, Corbin overcame most of his opponents, but he failed to check one of the wrestler’s credentials before the match.

Still, this worked, and Corbin got his comeuppance after trying to overstep his bounds as an authority figure.
