8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 16)

5. AOP Back On The Horizon

We haven’t seen the Authors of Pain on regular WWE programming in forever, so Monday’s promo video was a welcome sight.

Akam and Rezar reintroduced themselves to WWE, declaring that no one in the company’s tag team ranks would face them because they hurt people, and the tag division is soft. While this writer isn’t a fan of the overdubbed promo – is bringing back Paul Ellering just not an option? – it did the trick in serving as a warning to all tag teams that this bruising duo is on the way back to WWE.

It’s been far too long since AOP was last seen on Raw, so hopefully they will make an impression when they return.
