8 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Evolution

1. Video Packages Galore

We get it – WWE is making history with this all-woman PPV. But we didn’t need 37 video packages with interviews of every woman on the card to tell us how history-making and special this night was.

By the time we got to the fourth special video package, it was everything not to just turn the TV off and walk away for five minutes. (Instead, it was time to get a piece of pie.) We get that Evolution means a lot to the women on the card, and they showed it through their performances on the PPV. We didn’t need to hear all of them tell us about it in-between every match.

They easily could have squeezed another match or two onto the card (Meiko Satomura? NXT?) or lengthened the existing matches if they cut down on the videos and Barry Horowitz-like patting themselves on the back.

But that wouldn’t be WWE’s style.
