Look, it€™s understandable that WWE wanted to figure out a way for the Lucha Dragons to lose their first round tag team tournament match to the Dudley Boyz without making United States Champion Kalisto look weak, but an injury off a bump to the floor and a clothesline? Come on.

The first-round match was joined in progress after a commercial break with Kalisto on the floor. We got a highlight shot of the U.S. champ flipping to the floor and smashing face-first on the outside. One clothesline from D-Von later and Kalisto was out of the match. That was it; no brutal beatdown, no smash into the ringpost, no underhanded tactics.

Maybe if the Dudleys cheated and injured Kalisto, it would have been one thing, but this really just served as a reminder that the creative team has failed Kalisto and the United States Championship itself.
