In no way is this meant to be a negative €œsound the alarm€ moment for WWE, but it was a little troubling to see Apollo Crews€™ second Raw match play in the €œdeath slot€ before the main event with little story or reason to get invested. Contrast this with Enzo & Big Cass, who immediately jumped into a feud with the Dudley Boyz, or Baron Corbin, who won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and assaulted Dolph Ziggler last week.

Crews, by comparison, has beaten up Tyler Breeze and members of the Social Outcasts so far. That€™s not to say that his wins haven€™t been impressive, but it€™s not like fans Monday were expecting Adam Rose to pull out a victory. And one of the biggest concerns even supporters have with Apollo is his personality coming through.Crews is insanely talented, but if fans don€™t find a reason to connect with him, then he could find it hard over time to rise above a certain level on the card. Again, this is just his second week on the main roster, but it€™s worth mentioning now and keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.
