When the Undertaker lost at WrestleMania for the first time at Mania XXX, he disappeared from television for an entire year. Triple H was demolished by Roman Reigns at TLC and disappeared from television for a month. Reigns himself had his face busted and was off TV for three weeks during the crucial build to Mania.

There are plenty of other examples in the recent history of WWE of a superstar getting beaten up and taking a week or two off to recover before they can return to action. The toughest of tough guys sometimes have to sell a beating to show how badly they were hurt.

Not Shane McMahon.

The 46-year-old corporate executive was chokeslammed, powerbombed and tombstone piledriven by the Undertaker at WrestleMania, not to mention the fact that Shane willingly dove off a 20-foot-tall cell and crashed through a table. But eight days later, he was bouncing around on stage, dancing and showing how ill effects from what should have been an epic beating.

If Jim Ross were calling Raw, he would€™ve called Shane €œthe toughest SOB I€™ve ever seen, bah Gawd.€ And that€™s just plain ridiculous.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
