8 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 11)

3. A Vicious Killer€ For A Moment

When John Cena went down with a shoulder injury last week, it looked like not only would WWE be without its top star for several months, but no one would really be able to claim that they took him out of action since the injury didn€™t happen on television. But then Alberto Del Rio took credit for knocking €œJuanita€ out of the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania in a fiery promo that made you think for the briefest of moments that he might be a dangerous competitor who uses Cena€™s injury to elevate himself. And then Del Rio lost his United States Championship to Kalisto. That€™s not to say that Kalisto shouldn€™t have won. It was smart booking from the standpoint that Alberto wasn€™t doing much with the title. But someone should have gotten a rub from knocking Cena out of action and Del Rio positioned himself to be that guy with his promo, only to then lose his title moments later.
