6. Styles And Owens Set-Up A Rematch

Kevin Owens has done a good job of rehabilitating the United States Championship. His ‘New Face Of America’ act is excellent, and while the champ has taken a couple of clean losses lately, they’ve all been to Shinsuke Nakamura - one of SmackDown’s biggest stars.

If the US Title isn’t already more prestigious than the WWE Championship, it certainly will be if KO and AJ Styles resume their feud after MITB. The duo engaged in a fun brawl at Backlash, but it ended in a count-out when Styles’ foot became stuck in the announce table, and Owens dashed back into the ring. This inconclusiveness suggests their beef is far from over, and while either man could conceivably snag the briefcase on Sunday, WWE will likely use the ladder match to continue their bad blood.

There are plenty of ways to pull this off, particularly in such a chaotic environment. The duo taking each other out of contention with a huge ladder bump should do the trick, particularly if AJ is the biggest victim. This would give him further incentive to chase Owens in the aftermath, providing the blue brand with a lengthy feud that will likely eclipse whatever’s going on in the main event.
