8 Ways To Make A Bigger Star Out Of Rusev Feuding With John Cena

6. Parody "The Interview", End In A Beatdown Of The Interviewer

This is kind of a slippery slope because you're putting trust in creative to mimic a major movie that caused controversy. A lot of the time, creative tries to make things humorous when they mimic or mention anything of pop culture, and it usually falls flat. For those who don't know, part of the premise of The Interview was to show a different side to the evil Kim Jong-un, a more human side within an interview on an American celebrity television show. This is not meant to copy The Interview, it is just a segment based on the premise of the television show on the movie. Basically you would have someone like Michael Cole or Tom Phillips have a sit-down interview with Rusev and Lana. The purpose of the interview is to get another side of Rusev. Things such as his personal life, interests, and things to get to know him better. Then a wrong question gets asked and Rusev instantly is fuming mad slaps on The Accolade. Much like when Kane set Jim Ross on fire, or Brock Lesnar used Josh Mathews as a rag doll backstage, Rusev can further establish himself as a ruthless heel by attacking whoever is interviewing him. Granted, if it is Michael Cole that he slaps The Accolade on, he'll probably be cheered here as well, but it still puts over the idea.
