4. A WWE Network Special
How much do we know about Neville? Not a great deal, really. We know he likes to fly, he likes wearing capes, he supports Newcastle United Football Club, he erm...he errr....yeah. WWE haven't really told us much about Neville, really. We don't know anything about the person behind the character. Whilst WWE would no doubt like their stars to retain an aura of mystique, that's all-but-impossible in 2015. Seemingly embracing that fact, WWE has stepped up the production of kayfabe-destroying programmes and documentaries, many of them for the WWE Network. We've had stuff like Table For 3, which shows three superstars just hanging out with each other out-of-character and WWE 24, which is an all-access behind-the-scenes look at WWE superstars. The upcoming Breaking Ground takes an in-depth look at the training that prospective stars undergo at the WWE performance centre. There are others, too, but the point is, Neville has never really been the focus of one of these. This is a shame, because his story is an interesting one, and he's an engaging, humble interviewee. By informing viewers of some of his backstory and showing a little more of his natural personality, it would (hopefully) strenghen the connection between him and the WWE universe.
