Last month, Neville received a hero's welcome when he returned to NXT to take party in the Dusty Rhodes Classic tag team tournament. Yes, the Full Sail crowd stood and went mad for Neville, who was performing on NXT TV for the first time since his move to the main roster. This is quite a different response to the one he was getting in the few months of his NXT run, with fans becoming a little tired of Neville's lengthy NXT Title reign and wanting to see new acts like Finn Bálor ascend to the top. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that, you know... It might not be such a terrible idea to send Neville back to NXT for a little while. He'd be the proverbial big fish in a small pond, thanks to his exposure on the main roster, and would slot right in to a top-level feud. Who wouldn't want to see Neville return to his WWE roots and go one-on-one with fresh opponents like Samoa Joe and Apollo Crews? Neville would, obviously, not be returning to developmental full-time but NXT could definitely use him. Maybe he could use NXT, too.
