8 Ways WWE RAW Can Beat NFL Monday Night Football
3. Rejuvenate Kurt Angle
While
having an authority figure not named McMahon has been refreshing, it’s a shame
how limited Kurt Angle’s role has been on Raw. When WWE announced him as the
first member of the 2017 Hall of Fame, the wrestling world exploded in bliss as
the Olympic gold medalist hadn’t been in the company for more than a decade.
Then he was announced as the Raw General Manager, and fans anxiously awaited
some hilarious gems with New Day and heated confrontations with Lesnar.
It’s
been five months, and the only memorable moment Angle has had was his WTF
revelation about sonny boy Jason Jordan. Why hasn’t the Raw creative team given
Angle something he can sink his teeth into? His HOF speech consisted of
throwbacks to classic moments, proving his incredible range of acting. Aside
from banter with Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, his current stint has been void of
any humanity.
Angle
needs to riff with different characters from zany Ambrose to former rival
Samoa Joe.
