8 Worst Possible Outcomes At WWE Money In The Bank 2018

5. Nia Jax Wins Clean

When Ronda Rousey locked her arm bar on Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax this past Monday, the thought must have occurred to millions of seasoned WWE fans that Rousey was being set up for a fall. This was telegraph booking 101; going into the pay-per-view with an advantage over her opponent would, traditionally at least, mean Ronda is losing.

That's fine, so long as it doesn't happen cleanly.

The story of begrudging respect between champ and challenger has been clumsily told at times (Jax acted like a heel when pasting a helpless jobber several weeks ago), and yet there's light at the end of the tunnel. Should some actual heels, like the Riott Squad, run in, then Rousey and Jax could team together come SummerSlam.

That may be the best situation for all-concerned. A screwy finish that leads to a six-woman tag involving Rousey, Jax and Natalya vs. the Riotts seems like a decent bet. Or, WWE will expose Ronda just two matches into her pro wrestling run, have Jax overcome her and promptly shed the "Baddest Woman On The Planet" of her aura before she's really even started.

Let's hope not.
