One can dream.

Realistically, El Generico's name is only mentioned here in some hopelessly naive attempt to manifest him back out of hiding. "Never means never" is possibly the most wrestling wrestling expression ever, because as with so much of wrestling, it is total bullsh*t. Everybody comes back.

Except, it would seem, El Generico.

Quite possibly the very best babyface on the legendary 21st century independent circuit, the man was incredible. A hugely sympathetic personality who grasped the struggle of the comeback better than most, he exploded into those comebacks with some of the must futuristic, mind-blowing offence ever conceived. Watching clips back on YouTube even in 2022 elicits that same, Holy Sh*t thrill.

As a former ROH Television and World Tag Team champion, he is technically under consideration - but sadly, it seems that he just doesn't want to wrestle anymore.

Even though he was the one...to show the Young Bucks how to sell merch, there doesn't seem to be much dawg left in the old entrepreneur these days. Several conspiracy theories have followed his name around, but his old peers have only heard that he has shored up in Mexico.

Perhaps he's more interested in continuing the Generico bloodline.

Probability: 5%
