8 Wrestlers Who Gear Up For Big Matches

6. Seth Rollins

And speaking of all-white gear...

During his lengthy run as The Authority's chosen heel champion, Seth Rollins battled plenty of competitors. But you knew the stakes were highest when he busted out the Power Ranger white-and-gold version of his ring gear.

Looking for all the world like the Crossfit Jesus so many proclaimed him to be -- or perhaps Gandalf if he was appearing on American Gladiators -- Rollins seemed more like a hero on the rise than a villain draped in white. (Booking him in back-to-back title matches was another curious step in this pseudo-face direction.)

There's no denying that his WrestleMania 33 gear -- a gold and silver ensemble that made him look like Goldust's outdoorsy brother-in-law -- is his most bombastic, but it didn't really fit with the unsanctioned match stipulation. Like the Gold Cloaks in Game of Thrones, he's dressed to impress, not for war.

The white-and-gold version of 'The Architect' evokes a man trying to be his best. Here's hoping he continues to utilize it in the future. It's awesome.
