8 Wrestlers Who Have VANISHED From AEW (... And WHY!)

4. Nyla Rose

Nyla Rose
AEW

Nyla Rose was a monster in the early days of AEW. She appeared on the company's first PPV, taking part in a Fatal Four Way at Double Or Nothing 2019 before they even had a TV deal or a name for their weekly flagship show, and shone as the women's division's most feared competitor in those first few years of AEW. She reigned as AEW Women's Champion for over 100 days in 2020, as The Beast dominated her opponents in oppressive fashion.

AEW prides itself on having a competitive women's division, stacked with rich and varied talent. Nevertheless, Rose is one of the only believable monsters on the women's roster. She is a physically imposing presence, and the destructive personality and in-ring style that she brings to the table is one of the only elements that AEW's women's locker room lacks.

Nyla Rose's AEW absence becomes more curious when considering she has been an active force on the indies in 2025. 'The Beast' even had an exchange on X with Mercedes Mone after winning the Pro Wrestling: Eve Championship last year, showing a screenshot of her blocking The CEO in an attempt to avoid the belt collector coming her way. She last appeared on AEW tagging with Harley Cameron in a loss to Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa on the November 20th, 2024 episode of Rampage.
