The Rockers are one of WWE's most influential tag teams of all time. Managing to stand out at a time when the company had a stacked tag team division, Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty brought high-flying and hard partying to the division in a trail-blazing run that is still revered to this day.

Just as famous as their run at the top is their infamous break-up on Brutus 'The Barber' Beefacke's 'The Barber Shop' chat show. After months of unease and speculation about their future together, everything came to a head during the infamous segment as part of the January 11th, 1992 episode of WWF Wrestling Challenge. Jannetty gave Michaels an ultimatum, in which he would turn his back on Shawn and turn back around, by which time his partner could either shake his hand or walk away and end their tag team for good.

Most fans will tell you that Jannetty was turned back around by Michaels, who would then shake Marty's hand before superkicking him through 'The Barber Shop' window. That is not the case. Instead, Marty was dropped by a superkick, and Michaels then picked his former partner up and threw him through the window, launching 'The Heartbreak Kid's glittering solo career and beginning a new legacy for himself.
