This probably wasn't the guy most expected to see first.

As "Kurrgan The Interrogator", Robert Maillet stunk up WWF rings between 1997-1998. A naturally huge, musclebound man, he was also the latest example of an uncoordinated wrestling giant. Think equal parts The Great Khali and Giant González. Kurrgan, despite being led by the charismatic Jackyl, was undoubtedly crap.

There didn't seem to be a pro wrestling future on the indy scene for Kurrgan once he left the WWF. Truthfully, there wasn't, and yet he never needed one. Maillet, buoyed by his legit 7ft frame, found success in Hollywood as a freak show antagonist to rival Richard Kiel before him.

To date, Maillet has starred in films like Sherlock Holmes, Pacific Rim, Deadpool 2, Immortals and Monster Brawl. His breakout role as a hulking chained beast in 2006's 300 showed there was life after wrestling for the Canadian.
