8 WWE Night Of Champions Opening Matches - From Worst To Best

The opening match from last year and to my mind the best tag team title match from the Night of Champions event, the Rhodes boys and their Uso counterparts went out and put on a great little bout to kick things off last year.

Sure, nothing revolutionary happened, but the match ticked all of the boxes it needed to and it also accomplished one important thing; both teams made the tag titles seem like the most important thing in the world. The Dusts were overwhelmed in victory, and the Usos devastated in defeat.

There was also some nice subtle character work throughout. The Dusts had targeted Jey Uso's knee in the weeks leading up to the event, and at one point in the match Jey gets a bit of revenge by viciously attacking Stardust's knee.

Continuity is a wonderful thing.
