Speaking of underrated, The Miz and R-Truth had a surprisingly great run as Awesome Truth towards the end of 2011. The team was born out of the conspiracy theories both would run, and I would argue that at no point in his entire career has R-Truth been more entertaining.

Air Boom were a great little team as well, and there will always be a feeling of what could have been with Evan Bourne (Matt Sydal). Injuries certainly didn't help, but I do feel that WWE had something special on their hands at this time and things were moving in the right direction. Alas, it wasn't to be.

Another fun tag team opener, helped by Bourne's frenetic pace and the paranoia of Miz and Truth. Kofi? Well, he clapped and jumped a lot.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
