8 WWE Stars In Dire Need Of A 2017 Draft

1. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is the best choice to replace Randy Orton on SmackDown. Rollins isn't in the Universal Title hunt anyway, so it wouldn't feel cheap to have him play second-fiddle to John Cena vs. Jinder Mahal. Besides, when Cena surely disappears again, Seth would be waiting to move up into the main events.

The Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt rivalry on Raw already feels like it's not hitting the right mark. Maybe this has more to do with how WWE continually let Wyatt down, but it also says a lot that Seth's TV character is more concerned with hyping his cover appearance on the forthcoming 2K17 video game.

On SmackDown, Rollins would feel reinvigorated.

Someone like Rollins would be perfect for reintroducing Rusev, or how about putting Seth in mouth-watering matches against AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura? Should Rollins temporarily be thrust into that emerging feud, it'd give WWE the means to extend it and hold off on Styles vs. Nakamura as a singles bout until WrestleMania.
