Personal problems, suspensions, toxic relationships and injuries all contributed to the downfall of a young women who once looked like WWE's future. As recently as 2016, Paige seemed like a stick-on to be a leading light in the women's revolution. In the three years since, she's only wrestled seven matches.

Somehow, she's still the picture of relevance in a company that typically moves on quickly when there's trouble.

Paige has a star vibe that's hard to deny though, and that's helped her stay in the public eye even when she hasn't been working in-ring. She was a fine choice as SmackDown General Manager last year, and she's a social media guru WWE can rely on to push their brand despite rarely appearing on TV.

There's also the not-so-tiny matter of a movie based on her life that's being produced by Dwayne Johnson. That flick, entitled 'Fighting With My Family' will premiere soon, and it promises to prolong Paige's importance to WWE for another good while.
