9 Best Supernatural WWE Gimmicks
4. Bray Wyatt
Inspired by the short-lived, New Generation era superstar Waylon Mercy (who was, in turn, inspired by Robert De Niro's character in Cape Fear), Bray Wyatt originally rolled into the WWE as part of Nexus under the ring name Husky Harris.
Soon, however, Harris' body was "overtaken" by cult leader Bray Wyatt. In various promos, Wyatt asserted that he's an evil demon possessing a vessel that no longer had any use for the body. He's also cites "historical" demons like Samael (the Angel of Death in Christian mythology), speaks in tongues, and performs incantations.
This could be nothing more than the demented ramblings of a crazy hillbilly, but dammit, this cult leader psychopath seems to possess some unique kind of evil inside him that goes way beyond the usual backwoods, rocking chair weirdo.
Best case scenario, he's just a mid-level voodoo practitioner. Worst case scenario? Sister Abigail is more than just a part of Wyatt's tragic past.
