8. Ciclope/Halloween

There's not a whole lot to say about Ciclope/Halloween, but I just really, really liked him, OK?

No, Ciclope wasn't involved in any entertaining angles and didn't have a big PPV match against an Ultimo Dragon or a Rey Mysterio or anything like that. His role was essentially the same as most of the other masked Mexican wrestlers, which was to go out and have a good match (usually a six-man) or put over another, more established member of the roster.

His finest match was probably his effort with Mysterio on the November 11, 1996 Nitro, during which Rey hit his foe with a sickening hurricanrana off the top rope to the floor. That was another thing about Ciclope/Halloween; he was always willing to put his body on the line for the sake of fans' entertainment.

And finally, what about that ridiculously awesome mask, huh? There are lots of cool masks in lucha libre, but I had a soft spot for the horned, one-eyed wonder that is Ciclope's.
