2. Big. Match. John.
Should Sheamus hold on to the belt beyond TLC, there's only one man that should carry him into 2016 - and his name is John Cena. Big Match John is said to return from his break shortly after Christmas, by which point he should be just fresh enough to step right back into the main event scene. Sure, many fans will complain at the hot-shotting of Cena to the front of the queue (myself included, probably), but nobody, short of Brock Lesnar, can so instantly generate a big match atmosphere. The pair have history; Sheamus won his first ever WWE Championship from Cena in that infamous tables match at TLC 2009, and could be put over as a champion who really has John's number. Even a screwy win over Cena would instantly make the Celtic Warrior twice as legitimate a champion, an absolute necessity if his title reign is to be considered even a partial success.
