9 Factors In WWE Decision To Get Rid Of Hulk Hogan

8. He Couldn't Wrestle

When WWE signed Hogan back in 2014, The Hulkster wanted to wrestle. Would a Hulk nostalgia match have made money for Vince McMahon? Absolutely. But as hard as Hogan tried to get fit, he simply couldn't get past WWE's physical checks. He's had a history of hip and back problems, which at age 61 are not easy things to live with. Yet he continually talked up his potential to wrestle. Nearly a year later, Vince McMahon must have known it was never going to happen. Hogan was all talk. Having a wrestler who can't wrestle was limiting the money that WWE could make on the star. Getting rid of an active wrestler would be a tough decision, but getting rid of a guy who just talks and poses is a lot easier.
