Bray Wyatt was tasked with working with ‘The Phenom’ The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 in The Dead Man’s first match back in a year after WrestleMania XXX where he ended up with a severe concussion and The Streak was finally broken at the monstrous hands of Brock Lesnar. The encounter had a lot of intrigue going into it as fans hadn’t seen Undertaker in the flesh since he lost.

Wyatt was the perfect opponent for Undertaker, with him being The Eater of Worlds and the cult leader of the Wyatt Family. But the match almost didn’t go ahead. On the day of WrestleMania whilst laying out and practicing the match Wyatt achingly sprained his ankle, and was taken to the back on a cart at Levi’s Stadium.

Wyatt was in a lot of pain, so much so he had his ankle in a cast most of the day. Admiringly Wyatt was able to fight through the pain and have a 15 minute match with Undertaker in one of his better outings. Wyatt must have breathed a sigh of relief when Undertaker delivered the second Tombstone Piledriver for the 1-2-3.
