9 Next Steps For Roman Reigns After Winning The WWE US Title

This is something we’ve already seen to some extent, and a trend that will likely continue now that Reigns has that US title in his grasp.

In the weeks leading up to Clash of Champions, Reigns’ pursuit of the belt saw the title being featured in a rather more prominent spot on the card. Rather than seeing Rusev defeating the likes of Titus O’Neal in the early goings of the show, the Rusev vs. Reigns feud was occasionally given pride of place in the closing segment of Raw.

If things continue in a similar vein, the United States Championship could once again become one of the more prestigious titles in WWE, much like when John Cena won the belt and made it more relevant than it had been for as long as anyone could remember.

Perhaps a decent run as champ might also help Reigns win over the remaining doubter, again, much like the case was with Cena’s stint as champion.

Then again, I could be getting a little ahead of myself there. Even so; with the US title on a former world champion and consequently being featured rather higher up the card, surely that's going to help elevate the title and restore its prestige, which can only be seen as a good thing.
