Years ago, Reigns once told a story of how Vince McMahon asked him which he'd rather accomplish - winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania or defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania. In the course of two years, he's done both. He's Vince McMahon's guy, therefore, he is the guy.

With the victory over The Undertaker, Roman Reigns has now headlined three straight WrestleManias. Like it or not, Roman Reigns is the new WWE flagbearer. He's taken up the mantle from Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and John Cena before him, and with that comes incredibly big victories.

Would Hulk Hogan have been the man had he not defeated Andre The Giant at WrestleMania III? What about if Stone Cold had lost to Mr. McMahon or if Cena couldn't get past Batista or Randy Orton?

This is what WWE does. They build up their top guy as a world-beater by feeding him the biggest and baddest. The Undertaker was the latest in a long line of victories that have already been, and will continue to be, fed to Roman Reigns. It's how new stars are made and finally, WWE is doing it with the current generation.
