2. Major Feuds

Looking at major feuds, it was basically Roman Reigns getting most of the top feuds in the company. Everyone else got whatever was left over.

If we look at pay-per-views themselves and not the live specials on the Network, Roman main-evented seven of them in a row. The only ones he didn’t take part in during that time frame were all special attraction matches (Brock vs. Seth, Seth vs. Sting, and two Brock vs. Taker matches).

The remaining show, The Royal Rumble, didn’t really have a true one-on-one main event (sorry, but Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch before the Rumble wasn’t really pushed as that big of a deal) and the entire thing was built around whether Roman could hold onto his title or not. Hell, the man was even on the poster of the show all by himself, just like he was for Money in the Bank!

So when it came to big feuds in WWE, there was simply no one in Roman's league.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
