First things first: how great did Breezango look? It is becoming ever clearer that the duo of Fandango and Tyler Breeze are forever destined to be nothing more than a comedy duo towards the bottom of the card, but the Fashion Police continue to impress in their role and their new white gear looked particularly fantastic at Elimination Chamber. They clearly deserve more.

Tag Team Turmoil matches are predictable but fun affairs and this was no different. Heath Slater & Rhyno dominated early proceedings until The Usos were able to separate the two and put away the former champions. The current champions made their arrival soon after, but it seemed as though all was lost when Jimmy & Jey failed to accept their elimination with dignity and grace.

The Ascension seemed to have the SmackDown Tag Team Championships served up to them on a plate, but this is The Ascension we are talking about. American Alpha retained the blue straps and further established the weakness of SmackDown Live's tag team division.

This was a fun 20-minute match that gave all six teams moments in which to shine. Gable & Jordan are clearly positioned as being the strongest team on the show and as such were the right winners, but there is enough in a future program with The Usos to get excited about.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
