Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar will be a tasty encounter at Great Balls Of Fire. Even hardcore fans who hate that pay-per-view name will be eager to see 2 of WWE's most hard-hitting stars go nose-to-nose on July 9. It's hard to see Lesnar dropping the Universal Title during his first defence post-'Mania, but simply seeing Joe in that spotlight feels special.

Watching Joe go from unhappy TNA camper to bonafide WWE headliner has been a pure joy too. Questions were raised about just how the McMahon family would view the Samoan when he joined the promotion, and now such worries have been smashed. Joe is a top, top guy, even in WWE.

If anyone could make up for the loss of a potential Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar cracker and replace the former, it was Joe. Well played, WWE. In less than 18 months, you've come through for both AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
