Psst! Remember Krissy Vaine?

She signed a developmental deal with WWE in January 2006, and was eventually called up to the main roster for the 28 September 2007 episode of SmackDown. There, Vaine attacked Torrie Wilson after Torrie lost to Victoria. After that, Krissy appeared on the 5 October show in a backstage segment with Vickie Guerrero, but that was a wrap on her WWE career.

She was sent packing from the company by 10 October, so not many will recall her brief forays onto the main roster. Hell, most reading this won't remember Vaine in developmental/WWE full stop. It's remarkable that she was even posted to SmackDown at all when the company clearly didn't have grand plans for her.

After doing a bit more digging, it appears that Krissy left the promotion due to issues with her family. If so, that's a shame, but she'd never really get going in WWE before being released. Thus, rather unfortunately, Vaine has been practically erased from the history books - you won't find many people talking about her nowadays.

Krissy left the biz in 2011, but made a surprising return on the independent scene in 2019. Her last recorded matches happened in 2021, so she might not be done just yet. A WWE comeback is highly unlikely though. If the company weren't too interested back in '07, then they're probably not interested today.

Vaine is little more than the answer to a trivia question. Attacking a star the size of Torrie then vanishing completely wasn't commonplace, put it that way.
