9 UFC Stars Who Could Be In The WWE Soon

7. Tom Lawlor

https://twitter.com/FilthyTomLawlor/status/600099513290764288 "Filthy" Tom Lawlor made a successful and stunning return to the UFC after nearly two years away from the sport Saturday July 25 as he knocked out Gian Villante in their featured preliminary fight. It was a statement fight for Lawlor, who was also moving up in weight to light heavyweight after spending most of his career at middleweight, and after being denied the option to use a walkout song associated with one CM Punk, a fellow UFC fighter. Still, who knows where Filthy will be in a year. During his time away from the cage he actually worked with Ring of Honor and came very close to signing a contract with the respected indy promotion. Lawlor actually wrestled for a couple of years prior to his MMA career, so he's a prime candidate for the likes of the WWE, and something of a character. Plus, while he's not exactly a World Champion like Ken Shamrock or Brock Lesnar, he has enough of a reputation in the MMA world to garner at least some crossover interest.
