9 UFC Stars Who Could Be In The WWE Soon

8. Phil Baroni

https://twitter.com/philbaroni/status/619834453775417345 If Elias Theodoreau is the longshot of this list thanks to his successful run in the UFC thus far, then Phil Baroni is a close second; a real dark horse. Still, where there's smoke, there's often fire. Baroni, who had two stints in the UFC and has fought in ONE FC and Bellator MMA as well (his most recent fight, coming in Bellator, was a loss to Karo Parisyan), announced months ago that he was training for a pro wrestling career. Around the time of WrestleMania 31, he also claimed the WWE was flying him in for a meeting. The WWE eventually denied the rumour, but Baroni, otherwise known as the New York Badass, continues to train. He has also made his pro wrestling debut, and is making appearances for 3PW. At age 39, and having struggled in the back half of his MMA career, it's hard to tell if there would be much interest in Baroni by the WWE, and he has a tendency to post rather unsavory comments online. Still, stranger things have happened.
