A slew of announcements came out of last night's IMPACT Wrestling for a number of upcoming IMPACT events, specifically relating to Knockouts Knockdown and Bound For Glory.
For next week's IMPACT on AXS TV, the Influence's Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood will face Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering, with the winning tandem going on to challenge for Rosemary and Havok's Knockouts Tag Team Titles at Knockouts Knockdown. Additionally, a nine-man tournament to crown a new X Division Champion will commence with the first of three triple threat contests; here, Trey Miguel, Laredo Kid, and the debuting Alex Zayne will face off.
Then, at Knockouts Knockdown on 9 October, not only will Decay's Rosemary and Havok defend their Knockouts Tag Team Titles against the winners of the aforementioned match, but a one-night tournament will also see four knockouts and four free agents compete for a future Knockouts Title opportunity.
Finally, at Bound For Glory on 23 October, not only will a new X Division Champion be crowned, but the Call Your Shot gauntlet will return, too. Thus far, Rich Swann and Brian Myers have confirmed their participation.
This was key for building towards future IMPACT events. The hype is there for a lot of this.
