9 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE NXT (Jul 27)
7. Cameron Grimes: Caddy Extraordinaire
If you enjoyed the goofy escapades of Cameron Grimes and LA Knight when it came to the former's attempts to cut the latter's garden a few weeks ago, then did NXT have the segments for you.
The Million Dollar Champion was in the mood for a few holes of golf, so enlisted his butler to be his own personal caddy as the duo squabbled around a course. Ball washing, club name, and slapstick gags aplenty were all sprinkled into a delightful series of unfortunate events for the smug champ. And Ted DiBiase even stopped by to give Grimes a little pep talk and remind him that he was far more than just a w*nker's butler.
A welcome appearance from The Grizzled Young Veterans ushered in the main event of the scenario as the cocky scousers challenged the duo to a double or nothing bet that would see the person who got the ball in the hole come away with a cool $20,000. Knight then refused to buck the trend of sending his ball into the water, only for Grimes to smash him with a double whammy testicle and skull shot en-route to nailing a hole-in-one for all the marbles. You genuinely love to see it.
A GYV vs. Grimes and Knight clash will no doubt be just as fun as this nuttiness, so bring on their inevitable battle of the club swingers.
