You had to assume there would be serious consequences for NXT Champion Karrion Kross' actions seven days ago, with The Bringer of Doomsday going out of his way to viciously attack William Regal backstage in another attempt to provoke NXT's resident enforcer.

As Samoa Joe would soon reveal, said consequences came in the form of Regal planning on firing Kross from the black and gold brand, opening the door for more Charismatic beatdowns and lukewarm responses on Monday nights, no doubt. However, Joe had a better plan than this knee-jerk response. Revealing three pieces of all important paper, a trifecta of bombshells were unleashed on both the CWC and all who ply their trade within NXT.

Firstly, Joe officially resigned as enforcer. Secondly, he convinced Regal to sign on the dotted line and make him an active part of the roster once again. And lastly, and most importantly, he would finally get his hands on Karrion Kross at TakeOver 36 after the GM was once again convinced to "sign it!" by those in attendance.

And just like that, the landscape has once again shifted.

Will Joe send Kross on his way in just a few week's time and usher in yet another era of Submission Machine dominance on Tuesday nights? And also become the first-ever three-time NXT Champion in the process? You wouldn't bet against this motivated monster.
