9 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (2 Nov)

5. STILL Running With Scissors

FTR The Acclaimed
AEW

The Acclaimed's Birthday bash for "Daddy *ss" was yet another shining example of how to lean into something as hard as you can when it's over. Especially if there's more to be creamed out of it in merchandise, which, in defence of the indefensible, was a pretty cool way to make the best out of Friday's embarrassing kidnapping Billy Gunn segment.

A sweet moment with a child's sign aside, it all went where it needed to without completely killing the buzz - the original Ass Boys protested about their Father's unity with The Acclaimed, before FTR got a measure of revenge on them for recent grievances and took a long lingering look at Anthony Bowens and Max Caster's tag team titles.

It's a division cooking nicely, even if the title reign of the hottest act feels like it's soon coming to an end.
