The downside to Nia Jax vs. Bayley was maybe 90% of the match. That remaining 10% pulled the nose up to present Bayley how she should've been produced all along - she looked like a sympathetic babyface valiantly fighting against the odds before succumbing to Nia's power game. Why didn't WWE do more of this between 'Mania-SummerSlam?

Back-to-back Annihilator squashes from Jax worked as a finish. Yep, it's a pity the rest of the match was so slow and plodding, because that ending sequence was fab. Having Tiffany Stratton run in to tease her Money In The Bank cash-in also worked out, and the way Tiff slyly stared down Nia's title post-match implies their friendship won't last.

That's storytelling, people.

The rant you'll find in the 'Downs' section had more to do with disappointment than anything else. Yours truly was hoping for better bell-to-bell, but he can't deny that Nia ruthlessly exploiting a distracted Bayley then ripping away her title was excellent heel work.
