6. Miranda Shows Potential
With Jordynne Grace proclaiming herself to be a fighting Knockouts Champion and Madison Rayne promising to find her an opponent for this week's episode, we were treated to an appearance from independent standout Miranda Alize. As it turns out, Alize is someone who absolutely needs to be signed to a major organisation sooner rather than later.
She was busting out all sorts of offence that, while not the most innovative, still made her stand out in the knockouts division. Headscissors', Frankensteiners, wheelbarrow arm drags, the lot. Obviously she was never going to win the match - keeping in mind the championship was on the line - but it was a decent performance from Alize that will hopefully lead to something a bit more down the line.
'Thicc Mama Pump' decimated Miranda when she had the chance, smashing her face with several vicious strikes, while also tossing her around the ring, and dropping her square on her neck with a Grace Driver for the three count. The best part about this is that it didn't just further develop one story. Yes, it continued Jordynne being a fighting champion, but it also continued the minor story regarding Madison Rayne's Golden Opportunity open challenges. A great match, and it added progression to two ongoing story arcs - ticking all the boxes with this one.
