9 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Aug 16)

2. Moose! Moose! Moose!

The opening match between Moose and Fallah Bahh was a fantastic contest. Regardless of how much Moose's booking has deteriorated these last few weeks, you can't take anything away from the performance both men put in here.

As soon as the bell rang, both competitors left it all in the ring and the surrounding area. Considering the rivalry is only based off of Moose poking fun at Fallah for losing weight, it was surprising to see how physical they were here, with Bahh even back-dropping Moose on the ramp at one point. A huge superplex followed by a spear tore Fallah in half as Moose picked up the much-needed victory here.

Ever since the two started going back and forth, your writer hasn't been too fond of seeing Moose and Fallah Bahh's interactions. This week was a massive exception though. It's a prime example of rivalries not always having to rely on a story, as long as the matches they have with each other are decent. An excellent way to open this week's episode of Impact.
