Onto the good, and there's a lot of it.

Fans inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena must've been supping cans of Monster before the pay-per-view, or something. They were red f*cking hot for almost everything (SmackDown Women's Title bout aside) that happened on the card. Seriously, Vegas was hyped for some WWE action.

It's amazing what an energised and interested crowd can do for a wrestling show. MGM is such a good venue, and it's telling that most of the folks inside it didn't yawn their way through rest holds too. Chants like, "Let's go Bobby!" and "EST" invigorated the roster inside the ring, which is lovely to see.

Imagine episodes of Raw had this kind of passion and energy? That'd help make the flagship more must-see every week. Take a bow, Nevada. Your noise, chants, pops, boos and everything in between made MITB 2022 feel like a bigger deal than it had any right to be.
