9 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 26)
1. Night Of Rollups
Charlotte Flair. Neville. Karl Anderson.
Never should three matches on the same telecast end with rollups. That is just pure laziness on the agents’ parts. There really is no excuse for that.
But it was the third rollup of the night – when Anderson pinned Goldust in their tag team bout – that really stuck out. Anderson and Luke Gallows confronted Goldust and R-Truth backstage and proceeded to rip the head off a stuffed bear (dressed as Dusty Rhodes) that Bayley had given Goldust. It was simple and effective at making the Club hated heels.
Fast-forward to their match, and Goldust was on fire trying to get revenge. Suddenly, Anderson rolled him up off a short distraction and got the three count. Way to put over your hated heels, guys. That rollup did nothing to help anyone, with Gallows & Anderson looking like they squeaked by and Goldust looking weak jobbing to a rollup while trying to avenge his father’s memory.
