Do you realize that RAW has been a three hour show for over three years now? What has WWE done to fill that "extra" hour of television time? It certainly hasn't been used to put more talent on display. With all the different superstars that are on the main roster, it still seems like the same matches are booked week after week, month after month. In addition to the number of seldom-used-on-RAW main roster talents, NXT has grown so popular within the last eighteen months that there is no good reason why RAW should have so many episodes featuring repeat matches. There is also no reason why we should only see the same half of the roster on a regular basis. Right now, RAW primarily consists of the same 25 superstars and 10 divas almost every week. Talents like Bo Dallas, The Ascension, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Fandango, Los Matadores, Heath Slater, David Otunga, Damien Sandow, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, Alex Riley are all still part of the main roster, according to WWE.com, but their RAW appearances are sporadic at best, and non-existent for many. These talents are hardly used on the WWEs flagship show, but are the lifeblood of the live event tour. Why should the live event audience, or any audience for that matter, care about these talents if they arent important enough to be given time on a three hour RAW? Using more talents will decrease the audiences feelings of didnt I just see this match? while giving more talents more opportunities, more exposure, more chances to increase their value and it might even increase that low morale that has been rumoured.
