9 WWE Wrestlers For Whom 2017 Is Make Or Break

1. Roman Reigns

Two straight WrestleMania main events, a Royal Rumble victory, multiple World Championships, records and more, WWE has put the proverbial rocket behind Roman Reigns over the last few years. Despite all of these accolades (or maybe because of them) Roman Reigns is still yet to be accepted as the hero of the WWE Universe.

2017 is a huge, huge year for Roman Reigns. By continuing as they are WWE is doing him a disservice, as the hate from crowds will only continue to increase with every opportunity handed to him. If Roman Reigns in December 2017 is the same as Roman Reigns in December 2016, his career (in the eyes of the fans at least) will be done.

Reigns himself isn’t exactly blameless either, and whilst the ‘doing what he’s told to do’ schtick might wash for some he can’t be deaf to the reactions. His talking is still far weaker than it should be for someone in his position, and with the facilities available for improvements there really is no excuse.

2017 really is going to be a big year for the Big Dog.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
