9 WWE Wrestlers For Whom 2017 Is Make Or Break

9. Paige

If you had to bet your life on one wrestler leaving WWE in 2017, you would probably feel somewhat comfortable putting the word ‘Paige’ down. Paige has had a torrid 2016, as the women’s revolution pretty much entirely bypassed her whilst the former Divas Champion accumulated headlines for the wrong reasons. Suspensions came too, her current one ending very soon.

With her fiancé Alberto Del Rio already gone from the company, the safe money would be on Paige following him out the door in 2017. That would be easy however, and with the improvements in the presentation of women’s wrestling there must be more left for Paige to do in the company. She is the youngest female on the roster after all.

2017 is going to be pivotal not just for Paige’s career in WWE, but for Paige’s professional wrestling career full stop. Here’s hoping the anti-diva gets back to her best.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
