With AEW Dynasty 2025 now in the record books, Adam Cole is your new TNT Champion.

Dynasty saw Cole defeat Daniel Garcia in 16 minutes, bringing Red Death's TNT Title reign to an end at 133 days. Previously, Garcia had toppled Jack Perry at Full Gear back in November to win that belt. Since then, the New Yorker successfully defended the title seven times before his loss to Adam Cole last night.

Given how Cole and Garcia had gone to a 20-minute time limit draw last month, Dynasty had the two compete in a no-time-limit match where any outside interference was banned. The finishing sequence this time out saw the Undisputed Kingdom man put Garcia away with two Panama Sunrises and his running Boom knee strike, marking Adam Cole's first AEW title win of any sort.

Of course, Cole had previously held the ROH Tag Team Championships with MJF, but in terms of actual AEW belts, this TNT Title win is the former three-time ROH World Champion's first. Post-match at Dynasty, Garcia and Cole shared a moment of respect, with Danny graciously handing over the TNT Title.

The biggest talking point coming out of AEW Dynasty revolved around the PPV's main event, where Jon Moxley retained the AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland. While many fans were desperate to see Swerve finally bring an end to Mox's fourth reign at the top of the AEW mountain, those hopes were ultimately dashed by the returning Young Bucks, with Matt and Nick Jackson hitting the BTE Trigger on Swerve to allow Moxley to get the win.

Where Moxley's Death Riders pals were concerned, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta retained the AEW Trios Titles against Rated FTR. As many predicted, that match was followed by FTR turning heel on Cope, with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler hitting a spike piledriver, a Shatter Machine, and a Conchairto on the WWE Hall of Famer.

In other title matches, Kenny Omega kept hold of the International Championship in an excellent triple threat match against Ricochet and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey, Megan Bayne came up short against AEW Women's Champion 'Timeless' Toni Storm, MJF helped the Hurt Syndicate retain the AEW Tag Team Titles against Big Bill and Bryan Keith, and Bandido became a two-time ROH World Champion after beating Chris Jericho in a Hair vs. Title bout.

Rounding out the Dynasty card, the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments got underway, with Will Ospreay beating Kevin Knight, and Kyle Fletcher beating Mark Briscoe in the men's quarter-finals, and Mercedes Moné advancing past Julia Hart in the first women's Q/F. For those wondering about the Zero Hour pre-show, we had Nick Wayne and CRU pick up a win over AR Fox and Top Flight, while Anthony Bowens finally made his AEW return to answer Max Caster's Best Wrestler Alive Open Challenge; Bowens putting his former tag team partner away in less than a minute.
